Thanks For The Presents!

Alright, I'm here.

Okay, first of all,
Evo and Jas...
Thanks for the chocolate! I really appreciate it!

Oh, speaking of presents, I got a Risk board game for my birthday.
But it's no ordinary Risk, it's the Star Wars Clone Wars Edition of Risk!
Cool, no?
Thanks, dad!

I wanted to play it with my brother yesterday night, but we had to go to bed early.
Oh well...

Anyway, I finally managed to play Chess with Ashman and Hazwan today!
Ah, playing Chess...
The feeling of playing Chess, especially after weeks of studying for exams, is simply glorious!

Ashman, Hazwan and I organised an unofficial Chess tournament.
Each of us had to play 4 games.
I beat Hazwan twice, and next week I have to play two games with Ashman.

Ah, it was a glorious victory...( Sorry, Hazwan! )
My Benko Opening for White and Modern Defence for Black worked brilliantly!
Credits to Chessmaster ( Benko ) and Ashman ( Modern ) for teaching me these openings!

Oh, and I am proud to say that I have officially retired from Restaurant City!
Maybe my brother might continue it once in a while, but I'm done playing it.
It was fun, but I guess there's no point playing it anymore now that I've beaten everybody...[ sigh ]

Oh, and the video I posted on YouTube ( Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde Part 1 )...
It's just reached 700 views!
Awesome, no?

Finally, Jannah, I am not a chocolate vending machine!
And Sarah, you owe me a birthday present!!!

Okay, I guess that's it for now.

Comment me, kay?

May the Force be with you...

Hypermodern Or Classical?

Okay, I'm here...

Alright, let's get straight to the point, kay?

Alright, my old computer works again.
Finally, I get to play "World In Conflict" and " Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords" once more!

But it still has several of the old glitches...
Oh well, at least it works!

Oh, I forgot to blog about this in my previous post.
I had a unofficial debate with Hazwan just before the week of the PMR Trial Examination.
It was about Chess! Haha!

The controversial topic?
"Hypermodern versus Classical Opening Systems For White"

I was supporting the Hypermodern openings while Hazwan backed the Classical openings.
If you wanna share your view? Please do! ( Depends on whether you know what are hypermoderns and classicals or not! )

In the end, it was a tie.
I guess hypermodern openings and classical openings are both equally effective for White.

Finally, I'm still stuck with my mother's old handphone, which is an "Alcatel OneTouch" model.
I still miss my previous handphone! [ cries ]

Okay, that's it.
I gotta go and celebrate my 15th birthday with my family.

Comment me, kay?

May the Force be with you...

First PMR Trial Exam is over!

Well, the PMR Trial Examination is over! Yay!
But there's still the second PMR Trial and the real PMR Examination to go through...[ sigh ]

Well, at least I get to play Chess again!!! Wahoo!

Anyway, I've got loads to blog about!
In fact, I think there's too much stuff to cram into a single post!

Let's get started, shall we?

Well, first and foremost...
It's my 15th birthday today!

But almost no one at school remembered because there were still some exams going on.
Only Ashman, Hazwan, Jaslyn, Jannah, Evonia, Kent and Sarah remembered...
Oh well...

By the way, I was born at exactly 4.36 in the afternoon.
I'll bet no one remembers their time of birth, right? Haha!

You wanna know how was my trial exam, right? Well, long story short, it was alright, I guess.

English, Geography, Mathematics, Science were easy.
I've got to admit, even Sejarah was easy!
But BM was quite difficult. So was Kemahiran Hidup.

And I can't believe I missed the solar eclipse!
It was way too cloudy, so I couldn't see anything!
Oh well, it's just a once in a lifetime opportunity. No big deal...

Oh, and I almost got caught by the Prefects because my hair was too long.
And my hair's seriously very long!
But since I have my PMR trial exam, they can't touch me!
I am immune! Wahaha!

Finally, I've started playing a game called "Crazy Planets".
Actually, my brother discovered it.
Anyway, I find it to be quite interesting.

Well, there are a whole lot of robots...
You get bazookas, grenades, laser swords, etc.
It's quite fun. You even get to customise your own planet!
I made my planet look like Mustafar from Star Wars: Episode 3! Cool, no?

And about Restaurant City, I think I want to officially retire now.
Well, why not?
I've already beaten Nani, why should I play any longer?
Hmmm...[ scratches head ]...

Okay, I guess that's it for now.

Comment me, kay?

May the Force be with you...

Mum Has Spoken!

Okay, my mother has spoken.

This is the final time I get to blog until after my PMR trial examination.
[ sigh ]

Oh, this is my 75th post. Yay!

Anyway, my father finally sent my old computer to a technician for repairs.
But that was one week ago.

The guy at the shop said that he could diagnose and fix the whole thing in one day's time!
He told my father he would call him once he's finished.
But so far, he hasn't called my father yet...

Honestly, I'm a bit worried...

Speaking of electronic stuff, I tried to recharge my handphone the other day, but it didn't recharge! I was confused.

I tried deactivating the phone. Still nothing!
I checked the socket. I checked the plug. I checked everything!
Then, I took out the Sharp GX27 handphone manual, and it said that a possible cause for this problem is that the battery is dead.

I was shocked!
I told my father the problem. We went to Tesco Setia Alam to change the battery.
But the guy at the handphone kiosk said that they don't have batteries for Sharp GX27 handphones! Unbelievable!

So, I came home disappointed.
I was forced to use my mother's old, but quite new handphone.
It's an "Alcatel OneTouch 557"...

It's quite classy, but there was one major drawback.
It's unbelievably small!!!

As a matter of fact, it's tiny!
And there's no volume control, either!

The screen is smaller and the camera resolution is horrible!
How does my mother type messages on that tiny keypad? Ugh!

In the event that my father is unable to find a handphone store that actually sells Sharp GX27 handphone batteries, I'm really going to miss my handphone.

I mean, I've been using this handphone for as long as I can remember...
It's quite nostalgic, really... [ sniffs ]

[ long sigh ]

Oh, I almost forgot!

Last week, my school celebrated "Population Week" or something like that. There were many speeches.
At least the Headmaster's skill at giving speeches has improved, but only by a little.
It's better than all her previous speeches!

Then, there was the school choir.
It wasn't even a proper choir. Most of them were just volunteers.

They were singing "Heal The World" by Michael Jackson.
But we couldn't hear them singing because the PA system was much louder than their voices.
It was horrible! The PA system was so loud, I felt the ground tremble beneath my feet and my ears felt like they were going to explode!

Thank God it's over...
But honestly, the song wasn't bad. It was quite good.
Too bad the PA system was so messed up!

Finally, David, sorry about your middle finger.
That wound looks quite nasty!

Sarah, I know I suck, kay?
You don't have to rub it in!
I'm sure you have better stuff to do.

And everyone taking the PMR trial examination on the 27th of July,
GOOD LUCK!!!

And don't forget to wish me luck as well!!!

Okay, I guess that's it.

Comment me, kay?

May the Force be with you...

Environment Walk?

Alright, I just have one thing to say...

I HATE SEJARAH!!!

Why on earth do we have to study Sejarah for?!
I just don't get it!
It's a pointless subject!!!

[ sigh ] [ calms down ]
Oh well...
Life is hard...

Anyway, I discovered that my birthday is on the last day of the PMR trial exam!
It's on a Thursday. Yay!
So, it turns out that I will be celebrating my birthday after all!

And I want birthday presents...
Lots of birthday presents!

Besides that, I stayed back at school to participate in an activity called "Environment Walk".
Participants have to walk around the school perimeter and look for trash.

It was quite fun, I guess...

I managed to collect 310 grams worth of plastic wrappers, food containers, bottles and aluminium cans.
Well, at least I collected more trash than Hazwan!

But Lee King cheated! He put a flower pot in his trash bag!
And I'm not talking about those cheap, plastic flower pots!
That's not fair! That doesn't count as trash!

Oh well...
At least I'll get a certificate.

Someone rated my restaurant in RC...
5 stars! Woah! Cool!
I couldn't believe it!

But a week later ( today ), I checked my restaurant again,
and it turns out that my rating decreased to 3 stars! Unbelievable! [ cries ]
[ sigh ]
Oh well, it's just a game...

Okay, I think my next post is probably going to be my last post until after my PMR trial examination. [ sigh ]
So, I guess that's it for now.

Comment me, kay?

May the Force be with you...

A Whole Lot Of Evaluators!

Alright, I'm here.

Here's the stuff related to my school throughout this week.
Here goes...

Okay, since the PMR examination is drawing closer and closer, the teacher's have agreed to replace Pendidkan Jasmani with Geography and Civics with History.

That means I'll have triple periods of History on Thursday! NO!!!

Besides that, I participated in two dramas this week.
Both of them are in Bahasa Malaysia.

The first one is called "Jalan Sempit". It's taken from the Form 3 KOMSAS book.
I play the role of Ah Chong, a Chinese trader with a very bad temper.
It was quite fun!
I get to shout angrily at Theeban!

The second one is to show some evaluators how good our school is in the field of drama.
Puan Norshimah specifically chose me and Ashman! Are we really that good?
The evaluators only limited us to three actors, so Sehran tagged along as well.

And guess what?
Hazwan also joined our team as the director! He's always the director!

We had to make the drama ourselves.
There were no teachers to support us.
So we made a drama which involved three friends who meet after not seeing each other for a very long time.

There are several flashbacks showing how the three people became friends in the first place.
It's quite funny and allows us to showcase our feelings and emotions, which is what drama is all about.

We had to play out the drama twice.
In front of the class on Thursday, and in front of the evaluators on Friday.

I was quite nervous at first, but it turned out alright in the end.

Finally, I had to do an English oral presentation on Tuesday.
Remember the speech I had to prepare for Puan Roslinda?
If you don't, refer to my post on 17th June 2009, titled Speech About "The History Of Chess".

Well, I did it.
I was extremely nervous!
Haziq went in first, and he said that the evaluator was unbelievably scary!

When it was my turn, I sat down opposite the evaluator.
I began my speech.

I tried to remain as calm as possible, but my legs were actually shaking a little bit!
Thank God she didn't see that!
I had to control my pronunciation and intonation, and I also had to keep eye-contact.
It was tense!

In the end, I managed to complete my speech.
She asked me a few questions regarding my Chess life.
I answered all of them as calmly as possible. Then I said thank you and met Haziq, Aisyah and Jabbar outside.

At least it's finally over!

Speaking of Chess, here's an update on my preferred openings ( for those of you who actually know what they mean! ),
WHITE
1. Benko Opening
2. King's Gambit Accepted or Declined
3. King's Indian Attack
4. Austrian Attack
5. Bishop Opening

BLACK
1. Modern Defence
2. Pirc Defence
3. King's Indian Attack
4. Grand Prix Attack
5. Sicilian Defense Dragon Variation

And one more thing.
Sarah kicked my leg on Friday.
And when I got home, I discovered that my leg was bleeding when I got home.

Coincidence? I think not!
Say you're sorry, Sarah!

Well, I guess that's it.

Comment me, kay?

May the Force be with you...

Science and Maths in BM?! NO!!!

Okay, quite a lot of stuff have happened since the last time I blogged.
So I think I'm going to post all of them in 2 separate posts, kay?

I'm going to post the stuff related to the happenings at my school on my 2nd post.

Here goes...

I'm a bit disappointed with the Cabinet's decision to teach Science and Mathematics in BM. It's not right!

It's way easier to learn Science and Mathematics in English!
Reverting the teaching of Science and Mathematics to BM is not going to help our country's students fare better in the modern world!

Bahasa Malaysia is going to be useless in many of the world's developed countries, such as the United States, Australia and England.

Being patriotic just by knowing how to speak Bahasa Malaysia well is not going to help the country to develop and prosper!
Being patriotic is to help your country become a renowned and developed country, and not treated as a minor country in the face of the global superpowers, such as America or Russia.

But how is that supposed to happen if we can only understand the various scientific and mathematical terms in Bahasa Malaysia?!
For example, "oksigen" is supposed to be spelled "oxygen".

If this is indeed the case, then our students are going to be clueless overseas because they wouldn't be able to understand the many terms that are supposed to be in English!
[ sigh ]

If you wanna read more about this controversial issue, you can go here,

Chedet: Dr Mahathir's blog

Anyway, about Restaurant City...

My Gourmet Points just reached 100000 points! Yay for me!
But now I feel like it's pointless to go on...

Oh well. Here are a few changes I made to my restaurant before I reached 100000 points:
1. I added some sort of fireplace.
2. I changed all my wooden tables to gold-clothed tables. ( This cost me tonnes of money! )
3. I added a few pots to make my restaurant look less empty.

I'm also trying to rate 100 restaurants.
So far, I've only rated 50, and I'm lazy to rate the other 50 restaurants...
[ sigh ]

Well, that's it for now.

Comment me, kay?

My First Video Upload On Blogger!

Alright, I'm here.

Okay, this is probably the first time I've ever posted a video on Blogger.

It's an introduction for my video-making crew, Force 138 Productions.
Sorry if it's a bit blurry.

I tried to upload it in AVI format, but it just took to long too upload.
So I had change it to WMV format.

The original video file stored on my computer is much clearer and does not lag that much.

I took the video clip from here:

Star Wars The Old Republic E3 Trailer

I edited it using Windows Movie Maker again! Sorry!
I might be using this introduction if my team is tasked to make another video.

Well, here it is!
I'm sure I don't have to tell you this, but be sure to pause my music playlist before you watch the video, kay?

Yes, I know. It could have been SO much better.
Hey, I'm just an amateur, kay?
But I'm happy to listen to any "constructive criticism"!

Besides that, my RC Gourmet Points just reached 90000!

I also made a few modifications:
1. I added one more toilet.
2. I changed my wallpapers and floors.
3. I added 2 sinks.
4. I added two more plants.
5. I changed the wall dividers separating the toilets from the rest of the restaurant.
6. I placed 4 of my award trophies on top of my room divider blocks.
7. I added two more windows.

I've finally upgraded my Margarita Pizza to Level 3! Yay!

And apparently, cheese is in hot demand among the beginners in RC...
Don't ask me why!

Well, I guess that's it.

Comment me, kay?

I Want Rain!

Alright. The reason why I posted this is to push my number of posts up to 70.
So technically speaking, this is my 70th post!

Anyway, I've just finished studying History.
I studied for almost 5 straight hours!
After that, I had a major headache. It was horrible!

Oh God, please, I want rain!
I can't tolerate the heat any longer!!!

And I posted another video on YouTube.
You know that new song I added onto my playlist?
Well, I posted the same song on YouTube.

You can go and check it out if you want.
Here's the link,

Never Far Away by Jim Brickman

And I think my Restaurant City Gourmet Points just reached 86000, which means my restaurant has just reached Level 20! Yay!
I might consider retiring after I reach 100000 Gourmet Points...

Oh, and apparently, a H1N1 case has been detected in Setia Eco-Park!
The unfortunate fellow and his family members have been quarantined.
The management sent a notice about this H1N1 case to all the residents in Setia Eco-Park. How scary!

According to the notice, the symptoms of the H1N1 virus may include, but not limited to:
1. Coughing
2. Nasal congestion
3. Nausea / vomiting
4. Diarrhoea
5. Body aches
6. Joint pains
7. Fever
8. Sore throat
9. Headaches
10. Fatigue

Oh well, all I have to say about this is:
Be careful!

Well, that's it.

Comment me, kay?

May the Force be with you...

Civics Drama...

Okay, I'm here...

Alright, just so you know, this Star Wars picture is not from the original Star Wars movies.
It's from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, a video game.

Do me a favour and check it out, kay?
And for those of you who own a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 36o, I highly recommend this game.

Trust me. It's awesome!

Remember when I said that I had to stop using the computer until after the PMR trial examination is over?
Well, my mother was lenient enough to let me use the computer on weekends! Yay!
But I'm only limited to 2 hours. Oh well. That's good enough for me!

Anyway, I went for the Civics Drama competition last Thursday.
I was so nervous!
Luckily, I have already experienced what it's like to act on stage, so I didn't get "stage fright".

Since I was the translator "between East and West", I had to look professional, no?
So I wore my blazer, my father's old long-sleeved shirt and my blue striped necktie.

To tell you the truth, I looked pretty awesome!
Everyone said I looked like a businessman!
The only drawback was that my long pants were a bit informal. Oh well...

But since my blazer, my shirt and necktie were all dark in colour, I felt unbearably hot!
I was sweating like crazy!

The competition started at around 2.30 pm.
My class, 3 Omega, was the first class to perform on stage.

It was going quite well at first...
But after the scene where Ashman stabs me with a sword, the teacher announced that the time was up.
So, we had no choice but to end the drama prematurely.
Apparently, each drama was only limited to 15 minutes! How come no one told us before?!
[ Sigh ]

I'm sorry for Lynn, Jas, Jannah, Nafis and Puteri.
They didn't get to play out their part...

After that, we went upstairs and ate KFC!
I took of my blazer and rolled up my sleeves.
I really should have untucked my shirt! But I thought I would look crappy if I did!

Oh well...

Here's a picture.
Thanks to Lynn for snapping the picture!

I'm on the left, the one in the black shirt. Ashman is actually behind Hari!

Oh, I almost forgot! That day was the first time I've ever walked into the Girl's Toilet!
After I ate KFC, my hands were very oily, and the Boy's Toilet was far away.

So Ashman asked me to follow him to the Girl's Toilet, which was much, much closer...
To tell you the truth, there's not much difference.
The only difference is the wall colour. It was pink.
It was also much cleaner and the toilet cubicle doors were still intact...

After that, we went home...

Oh, and I just checked my Restaurant City.
My Gourmet Points is now over 80000!
I also upgraded the levels of most of my dishes. I'd like to say thanks to those who traded ingredients with me!

Finally, I added a new song to my music playlist.
It's called "Never Far Away" by Jim Brickman.
I find it quite cool...
But if you guys don't like it, you can just tell me in my Jedi Hologram ( cBox ), kay?

Well, I guess that's it.

Comment me, kay?

May the Force be with you...

The PMR Trial Is Coming! Ugh!

Alright, I'm here.

Okay, this is probably the last time I'll be blogging until after my PMR trial examination. After this post, I'll have to study non-stop until the exam is over.
But the worst part is that my birthday is during the PMR trial exam! [ cries ]

Oh well. Life is hard...

Anyway, I have to stay back at school tomorrow to participate in my class drama.
I am the translator, which means I have to help translate what the actors are saying from English to BM and back again.

For example,
Kamal says: "Selamat datang ke Malaysia!"
So, I would have to say: "He says, welcome to Malaysia!"

So technically, my role is quite important!
And on the plus side, I get to wear a blazer! Wahoo!

I'll get killed by Ashman, though...

Besides that, I think I'll create a new "How well do you know me?" quiz after the PMR trial is over.
How I hate examinations! [ sigh ]

Finally, don't be surprised to see my Restaurant City Gourmet Points increasing before the exam is over!
Progress cannot be denied! So I'll ask my brother to take over my restaurant until I'm done with my PMR trial exam.

And I defeated Marr's restaurant at last! Yay!
Now only Nani remains in the top spot. I'll soon overtake her! Muahahaha!

But I can't get too overconfident.
I only beat Marr by roughly 400 points!

Well, I've gotta go study for my exam now.

Comment me, kay?

May the Force be with you...
